spins over and over there is a spark at the coils and its got fuel , suspected carbs ?? so took a set of carbs off a running gpz600r i have for spares , still no joy

bike was running fine a week ago parked up in a dry warm garage ,, so not a problem with the cold or wet ,

Did you check the second set of carbs before you installed them? Carbs that haven't been used in a month, will start to clog up. Open up the carbs that aren't on the bike right now (remove the float bowls). Remove the long thin jets and hold them up to the light. You should be able to see through them. If not, the carbs need cleaning.

try cleaning the spark plug and changing the oil and gas and check the filter to see if it has been getting gas to the carb
