i agree. they are technically actors. because they have been in a movie and they do act. but i dont think they should be as big a deal as they are. the movie was made for little kids on disney channel and it now has a soundtrack, a dvd and about three different versions of the movie. if people didnt think zac efron was hott he wouldnt be anywhere right now. they arent that bad of actors or singers but their names should not be household names and when i open up my magazine i should not see ashley tisdale. those shows are for little kids you shouldnt bring the actors into hollywood. plus i would rather see chris brown in my magazine thank you:]

Sorry, no. Celebrities are people known around the world. Many of them have a job like singer, actor, director - but they are celebrities. Anyone who appears on film and particularly the ones that talk must belong to the screen actors guild. Do you know how many out of work actors, up and coming actors, not yet known actors, working actors that you would never recognize, theatre actors, Shakespearian actors, etc. there are? They are all actors - they are waiting for success to make them a celebrity.

Peace!

A. Zac Effron: NO, he has no expertise watsoever and the really reason he's in call for is because pre pubescent women experience he's warm.... so I easily do not understand why he's in call for! B. Vanessa Anne Slu-dgens: HELL NO! like the above, she has nooo performing expertise. yet She does have a fairly strong voice and has slightly of of expertise in a making a track occupation, yet in performing it truly is largely her commonly used, NO! C. Ashley Tisdale: sure. She's a strong actress (she's what makes that crap the Suite existence of Zack and Cody bareable!) and her songs are fairly strong besides. D. Lucas Grabeel: Ummmm, so so. he's not undesirable and that i have self assurance he performed his personality nicely yet it truly is the really component i have considered him in and this is not precisely oscar worth. E. Corbin Bleu: From this, NO. His personality's a jerk and he overacts (fairly contained in the 2d one!) he's also fairly stressful in bounce in so from what I see now, he's gifted at being an annoyance. F. Monique Coleman: i might want to assert sure. Like with the others, she hasn't been able to reveal a lot in HSM yet her factors confirmed expertise and that i have considered her in different shows and he or she change into strong there besides. final analysis, right here's my record of expertise from nicely ideal to least: Ashley T. Monique C. Lucas G. Corbin B. Vanesse A. Slu-Hd. not something not something not something Zac E. :)

Your the dumb one to but this question on here!!! why are you hating? do your girl want Corbin bleu? Are you mad because you couldn't be part of the cast. get a life. They are actors. Just because they are in a musical does not make there acting any less creditable. in fact it is very hard to be part of a musical. And really when was the last time you have been to China or Germany. what makes you the authority on this just because you don't like the movie?

Because they would actually be known as "Actors"/"singers". My point is, they came out in a movie [High School Musical] and by all means, anybody who comes out in a movie are actors , right?
They dont have to be known throughout the whole world for crying out loud.People who act in movies, dance in movies, or sing in movies are actors.period.

They are real actors! They have traveled to other countries even China do your HSM reserch and you would know that! People other than Americans know them and love the movie! You don't have to be famous to be an actor! There are lots of actors and actresses that aren't famous that don't mean that they are not actors or actresses! Think your ?'s through b-4 you ask them!

no - actors are people who are playing a character in a play or movie. They don't have to be famous. Famous people had to get their start somewhere. They were still actors even though they weren't famous at the time.

I personally don't believe they CAN act at all... That movie is torture... but yes... they are considered actors... they're just not BIG in the celebrity world... they're mostly popular to children about fifteen and down... and that is in the U.S.
