I know the truck is only worth what people are willing to pay but i was wondering what i should ask for my 1990 454 ss chevrolet truck. Perfect paint and body not even one ding, it does have 137,000 miles but remember the truck is 17 years old. thats only 8000 miles a year. The truck is completely stock except for a leveling kit, lowered 2" in front and 3" in rear. Remember from 1990-1993 only 16,900 454ss trucks were produced and this was the first year they were made. So who honestly knows how many are left i can account for one being totaled personally. Whats a good asking price in the seattle area. I tried to cover all areas that anyone would have questions about. Yes it runs i drive it daily only 20 miles a day.

I would say the $9000 is a fair price for the truck. Most people have a love/hate relationship with the 454SS trucks. They look awesome, but I think most people just expect more horsepower out of the 454. In general, the stock 454 is pretty low horsepower, averaging 230-260 depending on year. But I am getting off subject. The trucks sounds like its a great deal, and you are being very honest about what has been done to the truck. I personally would think the truck is worth the $9000 so I would say take it.
I live in Oklahoma and I have only seen three of these trucks in person. So I think you are lucky to have one of a few of an awesome truck Chevy produced so few of.

First of all these trucks were dogs.Grossly underpowered the 454 engine only put out 170 horsepower and they giltzed it up with a ton of crappy badging and other junk. And the handling was horrid. They are not worth much in any circle let alone as a collectible vehicle. As for a value with the fact that it is not 100 % original "you installed the leveling kit" I would say around $3K to 4.5K though it might be hard even getting that much.

If it has over 100,000 miles it is too much. About $3,000 for one with under 150k miles is about right. I would not buy it if it has over 150k miles. Those trucks really weren't that fast and had poor gas mileage. A 2004 or newer pickup will probably be faster and get better mileage. Be careful and good luck.

Take the money and run ,don't walk to the bank!!! You could get an Avalanche with a 498 in it in the early 2000 to mid 2005 ,I believe

I think you should take the 9K and run. Most of us true truck lovers hate when people lower trucks to make them look like cars!!!!!!!!

do you have a complete history on it?
sounds like your asking us to tell you what you want to hear?
