What do you most love and hate about the Centennial State? What are the people like? Are they fairly religious and conservative?

The mountainous regions are pure God's country. The plains are melencholy and thought provoking. Denver is just the right size, not too big and not too small.
Each town and city has it's own 'feel' as to their political views.
Boulder or Vail is probably more liberal and rich than San Fransisco. Whereas farm towns in the east are full of God fearing 5th generation farmers.

I can only give one tiny example from my experience: About a decade ago I spent some time in Colorado Springs and also Denver - went to see the Braves play the Rockies. Denver has THE cleanest downtown I've ever seen anywhere (been to at least 15 major cities for comparison). Now that was a decade ago so I don't know if it has changed at all. But from what I remember Colorado is all about the environment and keeping things natural (i.e. covering up radio antennas and cell phone antennas with fake trees, I was told). The people are very nice. I was only there a week, visiting some friends, so I don't have enough information to answer the religious or conservative part of the question.

I was born there! Gods country! You go visit and spend any times in the mountains and you will understand that.
The people are people just as they are in South Carolina, Maine, Georgia or where ever. There are several military bases so there are many people with different ideas and ways of life.
There is absolutely nothing I hate about the state except that I can't live there right now

I believe people love Colorado because of the outdoor sports available there. Myself, I don't like that much snow and cold.

The sports, the mountains, the snow, you can have a snow storm and the next day, with snow on the ground you're just wearing a lite jacket.
