Why can't my mp4 player find a file or connection?

Question

I just recieved a new mp4 player for Christmas. I tried copying some .hack// music (japanese anime) into (which is what you're supposed to do). The problem is it says it can't because it cannot find the file, or find a connection /link. I checked all the stats, they're all music files, but they still don't work. Can someone help!?

Note:
I downloaded tons of music that has the same music file type, it's just the .hack// that isn't working.

I just got my mp4 player for christmas also,I dont even know how to put music i bought on itunes on the mp4 player, basically i am having the same problem as you. so i cant really help you,sorry.
