i am at my cousins house and we've been wondering about finding out quanities of things to figure out the beginning quanity, it is possible, we believe, but can you answer it, if yes, then we will precisely know if our observing minds are understanding this , thank you,

Wow, the question is a little confusing.
Are you saying you ate, let's say, 8 peanut butter rolls twice? That means you have eaten 16 of them, right?
And you want to know how many there were to begin with?
Well, how many are left?
let's say there are 8 left.
That means you started with 8+16, or 24.

I'm not sure if this is what you mean, though.

I began answering your question but I realized that it didn't make sense.

Here is my best guess:
-Let x be the number of rolls to start with.
-Eating the quantity twice would be 2x.
-Lets say that you start with 10 rolls; x=10
-Eathing them twice would give you -10 rolls.
-Your problem cannot have a distinct solution because x cannot equal both 10 and -5.

The last step is confusing, but i can't think of another way to explain it.

Eating something twice is a little tricky. I did see an episode of South Park which might explain how that can be done.
