My 98 Cavalier RS has brake light and ABS light on. Brakes work fine except ABS. Brake fluid is good too. Brake booster seems ok as well. I tried resetting the computer with pressing brake pedal 3 times. It does reset. Any ideas?

Generally that is caused by either a wheel sensor going bad, broken wire, or a problem with the ABS solenoid(s).
It's really not a DIY project.
I would take it to a GM Dealer service department.

better get it checked out, both lights on might mean big trouble, usually if just the abs light is on it is only a wheel sensor that has gone bad causing the abs not to work but the other light being on might mean something major going bad.

Don't drive it any further than to the shop with the lights on. It's possibly quite dangerous.

My Subaru had the same problem. They said it was a bad solenoid something rather. Not going to be cheap to fix.

Check fluid, may be a leak.
