I think a lot of it would depend on your lifestyle, age, stress, circumstance, etc.

I would recommend seeing a doctor to identify if you have the disease and if you do start cognitive therapy. Personally I'd stay away from the anti-depressants or use those as a last resource.

I'm a nurse. Most people usually get depressed around this time of year. You should do something that makes you feel good about you, no one else. Also start a journal, write down your feelings mostly positive things about yourself. You can write down plans and set goals for yourself, have something to look forward to. Bad times don't last always. I'm a Christian and I strongly believe that life is what you make it. Make your life count for something, you can do it. Think of yourself as the best, no one can replace you, you are one of a kind, unique in your own way, and most of all a blessing to others. Think positive all the time, try to do this. Also I want you to watch this movie everyday and remember, that's for me. Take care and remember you are very special to those around you. Watch this! www.mayyoubeblessedmovie.com

take all tests, both at the beginning and in the middle. Implement changes starting in the middle after the test in the early 300s.

It is probably a combination of both hormones and depression.

Unfortunately life between about 13 - 24 can be very difficult and usually there is no one to talk to about these things.

Don't worry too much about it. Life will get better.

Make an appointment with your doctor or a therapist. Depression is common and can be treated. It helps to have a diagnosis, even if you don't want to take medication. I manage my depression without medication. I see a therapist and that helps. Good luck!

It could be hormones but it could also be clinical depression. Do you usually feel depressed during your period or all the time? if its all the time go to your doc and he can prescribe some meds. If its mainly during your period, try some wild yam cream it can help.
