I used to agree with that until my first love came back into my life after 15 years. We had both married and divorced other people, we both had kids and decided that we should be together forever. Big mistake. The longer you're apart from your love, the more your mind plays tricks on you. You miss it, you long for it, you eventually think it's better then it ever could have possibly been. But it's a nice feeling to have. I wish I wouldn't have ruined the sweet memories of my first love. I wish I would have never found out it wasn't really true love. It was a figment of my imagination that grew more wonderful every time I thought of it.

No, I don't love my first love, because he paid me a visit last night and is currently sitting in jail because he violated his order of protection.

I think it depends on how badly you really loved that person, but I dont think you will love them I think you will always care about that person
