I think it's a wonderful idea. Trees symbolize many things like a woman protecting her children from rain and heat and giving fruits and so on.

Any tree can symbolize life, healthy or not.

A tree has roots. A tree can offer life, give shelter and sustinence. A tree can flower and bloom.

A woman celebrating her birthday? As the oak matures, it becomes stronger and more majestic.

I think it does both, It is as a human is, grows slowly and over time and it is very tall when it gets done growing it is very thick and tall. When it has growen it's full height, it represents our family witht the tree limbs and each leave represents out family. The branches represent how through time life changes and our family gets bigger and bigger. I think it is a wondeful idea.
