You have to transfer you ripped music to itunes. download itunes at the apple web site and this is the only way you can sync your comp. to ur ipod. and ur ipod can only be synced to one computer.

If you are in Itunes, you need to drag the music from the library instead of the CD source file. If you bought your nano new it should have come with a installation CD for Itunes+Ipod.

connect your ipod with the "charger-cord thingy", and an ipod option should appear on your list of folders. drag and drop the music to there to load it onto your ipod.

Is it the charger that goes into the wall? or is it the one you plug into your computer and your ipod? because if it just goes in the wall then you need a USB cable to transfer your songs to your ipod if you dont have a USB cable ask Wal-Mart or Radio Shack if they have one.
