Is there a ati-hack program fro Windows or a way I can protect my PC so that a hacker can't get my user password to access files in my PC. Like the log-in screen password, so that no one can hack my password, I have someone on my back at my house that will do about everything to see my files.

Win XP pro allows you to password protect certain folders and then encrypt them as well. Store all your files in one folder, then password protect and encrypt that folder. Just remember, once you encrypt it, don't forget your password because if you do, you will loose access to all your files.

open file explorer, find your folder then right click on it. Go to properties. Click the advanced tab then click the box marked encrypt this folder. Once you encrypt there is no way to un-encrypt. Once done there, click on the sharing tab and click on make this folder private. Only the person with the encryption keys will be able to access those files.

If they have access to your computer they can get in. There are password reset programs available. I have one progrma that would get me into any Windows XP computer in about 20 seconds as the Administrator.

Now of course if you set a boot password and lock your case with a pad lock, that person's not getting anywhere.

You system has to support BIOS passwords to restrict booting.

You can also use encryption software if the options I described are not a go.

Due to the major security flaws in Wondows XP, no you cannot make your password hack-proof. XP still uses old encryption standards that are very easy to crack.

No password is hack proof.
