why do people get freaked out when they see actors or actressess there just normal people.nothing special it doesnt matterif they were on T.V. why do people get freaked out like "oh my gosh hannah montana" or "will you marry me jesse mccarthney" thats so dumb and stupid there normal people just on T.V.where actually better then actors and actressess becuase they do drugs and ruin there lives were better then them and there normal people.so why do they and who agrees with me.

Because many people are insecure & have no lives of their own. As in they are far too easily impressed by undertalented, & overpaid people who live to be in front of a camera. Paris Hilton is a prime example. She is famous for being rich, she did nothing to make the world a better place. Warren Buffett & Bill Gates have, they gave BILLIONS TO CHARITY. Yet, the media barely mentions them. SAD?

I wouldn't say they ALL do drugs and ruin their lives or that we are better than they are. I do agree that being celebrity struck is odd. I mean what do they really do that is worth looking up to? I watch movies and shows and frankly don't care what goes on in their public life. I think it's sad the way the US has become so fixated with celebrities. I guess it's a way to live vicariously through someone that has money and fame. My biggest complaint are all the brands using celebrities to market products. I guess soon enough everyone will buy Charmin toilet paper because that's what Jessica Simpson uses.

Because they have no real grasp of reality.
their lives are so mundane that they think there is something special about a celebrity and it thrills them to see someone who they think lives a more exciting life.
It is so very sad when these people (who have no real life of their own) rush those poor celebrities asking for autographs and pictures.
They interfere with the celebrity trying to live their own private lives.
By the way, i don't use Charmin because Jessica Simpson uses it. I use Charmin because i like the softness and i love the Charmin Bear commercials.

Perhaps it's just as simple as the little connection of recognition because the person is on TV or in a movie and because of that we think we know them personally.
Once I saw a television personality at the grocery store and i just went over and started chatting away like we were neighbors or something. He just smiled and chatted right back with me. I think that some of them really understand that we think we somehow know them.

I think it all depends on the actor or actress in question. Like if I saw any actor or actress from anyone of the Harry Potter movies I'd freak, probably have stroke, be rushed to the hospital and the actor or actress would be there and then it would happen again. But thats because I'm a freak when it come to Harry Potter!

Because they look up to them! Don't say you don't have a celebrity crush! And why are you so mean about celebrities? you might be one one day and you are gonna want fans to support you! Like any other celebrity would! And if peeps rember you from these bad coments bout HSM stars not being actors or thinking people are weird because they are obsessed with a celebrity people aren't goin to want to support you! Don't worry about why other peeps do what they do live your own life!

Because fame, notoriety, & wealth means power... & we humans have ego's that naturally are drawn towards those with power, because in the majorities eyes these people are accepted as to what we all should strive for, ergo we tend to worship in different forms regarding their status.
However, you are right to state that they are merely human & the same as ourselves & in my opinion all creations on this earth, in this galaxy & the entire universe are devine, because of our/it's existence & no one or thing is better or worse than each other, we just are categorized differently by the choices we make & the consequences we must accept.
Remember, humans ego creates the lust for power. How each individual responds to that power is up to them.

probably because the girls think the guys are hot and they get excited about that kind of stuff. Or, in the other case, the guys think the girls are hot and like them alot so thats why they get excited about them. well, thats my idea!! :D
