fake tans tend to turn you orange tinted. i find that a tinter moisturizer like jergens natural glow works wonders. its not too strong and the color is gradual. and its not too expensive either.

St. Tropez is by far the best! You can find it in stores like Ulta and Sephora or order it online from any beauty site.
It usually comes as part of a three part system: exfoliator, moisturizer, and tanner. You should shower in the morning using the exfoliator then moisturize. At night before you go to bed is when you apply the tan. It's tinted very dark so make sure you sleep on old sheets. Then the next morning shower off the excess.
The best part is that it will not leave streaks. Even if you do not blend it in perfectly, every area will only absorb the same amount. To darken, simply repeat the process the next night, but only exfoliate 2 or 3 times a week.
It leaves a beautiful natural tan, good luck!

Fake Bake. It gives a really even colour and works with the skins natural melanin to produce a tan sinilar to the colour you would go in the sun. I f you are only fair it wont turn you too dark but if you are darker it will turn darker. It also doesnt leave an orange tone as it doesnt have an orange base like most cheaper fake tans do.

There is a lotion out there from jergens and it tans your skin and it doesn't look fake. You just have to apply it 2 times a day for 7 to 14 days and you get a natural looking tan. It's in a brown tube.

dark sand and diesel mixed up and allowed to stand for a week before giving yourself a good coat of slap - never fails, during ww2 I used to sell sand from the bottom of an old petrol pump to those who couldn't get or afford silk stockings. An indeliable pen would make good seam lines but suspender straps would get in the way of energetic dancers.

I use Johnson's Daily Moisturiser, which has a hint of self tan in it. It builds up gradually so you don't look like you've been just dipped in marmite.

Just go to B&Q or Homebase and get some orange paint - it's cheaper and more real looking than any fake tan.

Bain de Soleil is the best. Also people have told me the Estee Lauder and Lancome chemical tans are good too.
