IM THINKING OF GETTING A KNIFE STABBED IN A HEART

Think carefully before getting a tattoo. I worked in a nursing home and one of the residents there was a lady with a "lurid" past. She had a tattoo on the top of her left breast. Well at 80 years old it didn't look much like a tattoo anymore. It was suppose to be a butterfly, but gravity sure took care of that. Also on some of the men who were in the armed forces, they would have tattoos and some of those pinup style women looked 80 also. When you get older and your skin starts sagging, your tattoo will too.

I've always wanted a tatoo, but have yet to see any artwork that I would want to have stuck to my body the rest of my life. You should think about it the same way.

If you are of age, and the heart and knife being there forever doesn't bother you, then go for it once you establish the cleanliness and talent of the artist.

YES, but give it some thought first.

I have many friends in the tattoo industry and have many myself and here is what I think. Sit down and look at the image that you want to get and think about it for about a month. I know it is a long time but it gives you sometime to think about it and make any changes to it.

The best tattoos are the onces that have personal meaning, not ones that have someones name name one it... make it your own. Second, choose the right location. Remember that it is your body but other people will judge you by where your tattoos are. If you are comfortable with that, then go ahead.

The best advice I was ever given about tattoos was from my Dad. He has had a military tattoo on his arm for 30 years and when I got my first tattoo, I asked him about his he said this "It was a time in my life that I will always remember... just make sure that yours is something meaningful to you and tasteful"

good luck with yours...

NO. so live life get a tattoo an enjoy it for what it is. an when your old you wont be alone there will be plenty of other saggy tattoo old people to talk about how there tattoo looks like now. probibly like 50% an up at this rate. an tattoos can be very feminine. i have wings that contour to my back an will never regret them. i am happy everytime i look in the mirror at it and every nice comment it get on them. just be very picky who you let tattoo you so you get a good tattoo. look at there portfolio

Ask yourself if you want a knife stabbed in a heart on your body when you are 50, if so go for it.

OK. Now imagine your grandmother with the same tatoo. You will be your grandmother's age someday. What looks cute on nice firm young skin doesn't look so good on old saggy wrinkly skin. Tatoos are forever. Still want it? Go for it.

i think you should do what you want(it's a free country), but my advice is make sure it is something really meaningful and not temporary(do NOT get a boyfreinds name on your back!!).a knife stabbed in a heart is good but what does it mean? if you think it is meanigful i bet it'll rock!

NOOO!!! What are you going to do when you grow old and whithered? That tattoo won't look so good anymore. Also, what happens when you get sick of it??? Wait a while.

Absolutely not - the regret is not worth the cost. Plus, if you're female, remember NOTHING could be less feminine than a tattoo, no matter what size, shape, color or location.

tatoos rock! they make sexy girls sexier, and ugly girls sexy if placed right. so either way you win, but remember it is permanent-unless you got the dough. J.Moose says go for it.
