I am hoping to give my child a unique and original name and show my creativity in a way that causes problems for the child later on. What do you think of these?

I hope this is a joke but if its not: Your child is gonna have their name mispelled their entire life. Why not just spell it the right way:
Emily, Elizabeth, Izabella, Jessica, Jennifer, Anna or give them another name all together.

Note: Im am relieved to find out this is a joke: your previous question on our opinions of unique names confirmed that.

Jezika is questionable. Otherwise I would pity the child. If you want to be creative find an actual NEW name instead of butchering the spellings of decent old ones.

I love interesting names but the best are from older times and cultures or from literature, not parent's imaginations. You have to remember that the name Wendy didn't exist before 1906 and Peter Pan.

Worst name I've ever seen ...Xyzia. Best ... Atryu.

I wouldn't go this route. If you're going to go unique I would try creating an entirely new name vs changing the spellig of a standard name. It will suck spending the rest of her life explaining how to properly spell her name. My husband's name is spelled "Bradly" instead of "Bradley" and you'd be amazed how such a simple change in spelling can disrupt things. He's constantly having his information updated on misspelled documents. Oh, and did you really mean to say you want to show your creativity in a way that CAUSES problems for your child later on ? Or did you mean DOESN'T cause problems?

In all honesty, without trying to sound rude; these aren't really orignial names; they are original spellings. I agree with the previous posting; your child will face a lifetime of their name being misspelled and/or mispronounced. Express your creativity in some other way. I wouldn't use your child who has no say in the matter to express this. That is just my opinion.

Your right about causing problems for the child later on. Her peers will always ask her more than once how to spell her name and when they don't ask she will have to correct them anyway and it will embarrass her. Is this really what you want?
My son's name is Alexander and we call him Xander. I love it and am proud of it but I get so aggrevated at ppl acting like they can't spell it! Its not that hard!
I just hope you have better respect for your creativity than I have had with mine.

Do whatever floats your boat. All of those names are pretty phoonetic anyway. The only trouble may be that the names will be often mispelled. But all of those names should be easy to pronounce for most English-speakers.

You so were not joking. The way you spelled those names is horrible. So nice of you for wanting to set your child up for a lifetime of humiliation!

Yep, these will definitely cause problems later on. Good job. Hope you're saving up for some therapy.
