You do not have to be skinny to be a kid model or a model period. I am sure you are beautiful just the way you are, inside and out. I know that it sounds like it came out of a Hallmark Card, but you should not diet or take medicine to change yourself. Be true to you and nobody else!

Children who are models are any size and you should not be skinny. The want kids to be normal size and normal size clothes to fit them; it's not like high fashion models.

Bullshitt, that's a lie, those people just live counting calories of every single food, they dont think about something else, that's their lives, and comparing who's skinnier between them. Dont get yourself in that world.

Kid models are not chosen for being skinny. They are chosen because they have a certain look that the advertiser is looking for.

i model and act (im a teen)
but i have kids in my class that are reaally skinny, and really heavy.
then some who are short, and some who are tall.
it might depend on your look or other things. but if you try to go into modeling/ acting, i would suggest that you be polite, and VERYY enthusiastic!!!!!!

i think u should not be big but not to skinny like run way models because it is not healthy and kid should not worry about there weight much because they can develope eating disorders.

Depends on who's hiring you but I wouldn't put myself in a situation to be overly thin for anybody. Why not be yourself instead of what society dictates.

skinny is not pretty, they r chic. chic and pretty are not the same thing. such as smoking is chic not pretty. Skinniness is not gonna cut it if u are as short as a leprechaun. if you have good looks, you might forget it too. Otherwise, good luck to u mini-Giselle
