Does Hussein should go the gallows or should be keep alive?

It isn't my place to say someone should die. I don't think that is anyones place.
So I think he should be kept alive.

In life we all make mistakes, terrible mistakes at times. A wrong cannot be corrected by another wrong. I personally do not support capital punishment. I don't thing Tony Blair or George Bush would want to be hanged. Let God judge Saddam Hussein and l'm sure if he's left alive he'll feel it. Amen. From a Christian's point of view.

Kill him by hanging. It's a disgraceful way for him to die. Rotting in prison costs too much and he would probably end up getting a nice clean warm cell instead of a rat infested cold dark dungeon eating bread and water as he would deserve. Whatever anyone else did with him does not make him any less guilty.

He should not only be kept alive but he should be given his old job back!! It's apparent the only way to rule those savages is with an iron fist! He was controlling those beasts the only way they could be controlled!

My opinion doesn't count, but Untanuta thats a ridiculous attitude that makes no sense, he ordered the killing and ruled with fear. Thats makes him as guilty as hell. And a coward to boot.
So do you think Hitler and Stalin were misunderstood then. He was the one that initiated and wanted the cleansing.

If he isn't killed, there are Iraqi people who will still live in fear. They don't believe unless they see, so he has to be killed for them to move on into another era. For the new government to survive, he has to be killed. Besides, he created that form of punishment, he dug his own grave.

well, its a bit late now if anyone wanted to keep him alive.
i think he shouldn't have been hung although there are points for and against.
FOR - he was a disgusting man who terrorised many and was responsible for huge numbers of deaths therefore the world is a better palce without him.
AGAINST - killing him was sinking down to his level. he was hung for crimes against humanity however isn't killing a man a crime against humanity? slightly hypocritical i think.

Keep him alive. All hell will break loose when he is hanged. He can't be a happy man, let him live on and be utterly miserable for the rest of his natural days.

like most other people i think he should be kept alive...If he is a muslim, (im not sure but i think he is) he wont be fearing death like all the hundreds of suicide bombers across the world he will just think that he will be moving on to his next life or paradise!
He should have the rest of his life in prison doing hard labour!!
Nonces and child killers should be sentanced to death tho!
