shouldn't she go to the emergency room or doctor or something. She hasn't done anything about it and it worries me

she should defiantly see a doctor. If nothing else, she may be anemic now from loss of blood.

I've never heard of a birth control shot that you get monthly.... but there is depo provera that you get every 12 weeks. With that, it is common to spot between the first and second shots. If she is bleeding more heavily then she should definatly see a doctor.

She has been bleeding for over 60 days? Or merely spotting? It sounds like this method of birth control is contraindicated for your friend.

Have her return to the doctor.

Also, she may be exaggerating. Hard to tell since it's not you.

I have had that happened to me. Except mine lasted 3 months straight. If she is bleeding heavy, she could become anemic from the bleeding. That's not good. She should definately see a doctor about this, so that they could find out what's causing this and also to make sure that she is not anemic from all of that blood loss.

I think you should tell your friend to talk to a docter about it. It could be a side- effect. allergic reaction, or not working properly. Your period should only last a week, or a week in a half at the very most. You should encourage your friend to talk to a docter, or a nurse or something.

Yes, it could be something really bad that could hurt her badly.
And if its nothing its still good to go check up. Better than being sorry for not doing it sooner.
