olmedaevelyn. if he does life in prison, it will be in IRAQ. if hes in IRAQ, there will most likely be someone at the jail that sympathises with him, and he will probably be released...thats the main reason he has to die, and above that, the IRAQI people NEED to see him dead.

Master O: i dont mean to be insensitive, but are you awake? do you actually believe that saddam hussein feels even a little bad for what he did? if so, then you need a serious wakeup call...anyone that murders as many people as he did, (notice i said murdered, that is not the same thing as casualties of war), should be murdered the same way, i think he should be beheaded, and if there was any way possible, he should be beheaded again, for each of the million something people he killed. notice that its mostly the human rights activists that are against teh execution of saddam. that makes no sense to me, youre totally fine with letting a mass murderer live? what about the human rights of the, god knows how many, people he killed???

I don't think the Americcan people should have a say in the matter that is for the Iraquis to decide. Now if it was Osama that is a different story. By the way where is Osama Bin Laden? That is my main concern not Hussein; Hussein will just become a martyr' many want him dead; but many still worship him and if he is executed the blood will flow for weeks, months, years, many of our soldiers will be caught in the aftermath and our loss of soldiers in Iraq will increase drastically

I am in favor of his execution. What I think is funny are these people saying that they would like to see Bush swing. And like the old lady that said "he has killed thousands too". Tell me when did Bush start a wave of genocide? What thousands has he killed? If you are going to refer to the people that we have killed over there during the war, or even refer to our own soldiers and civilians from 9/11 like most blind liberals would do, you need to grow up.
Saddam commited a horrid act and anyone that doesn't believe he should hang has some blinders on.

ideal or incorrect, maximum of them are doing so as a results of fact they detect Saddam Hussein (and rightfully so) as being anti-peace and anti-Democracy. i think of i comprehend what you're becoming to be at, inspite of the shown fact that. Are you attempting to intend that the execution of a guy, any guy, is anti-Democratic? or in line with risk that the execution of Saddam is basically going to reason extra violence in Iraq? i think of this may well be a sort of circumstances the place there is a few actuality to the two factors of the argument. it may nicely be authentic that the loss of life of Saddam Hussein is going to reason extra violence and much less peace in Iraq, and specific even much less Democracy, looking on who wins accessible. That mentioned, Saddam Hussein became a logo of tryanny, war, and torture. He murdered Kurds and rebellious Shiites and became answerable for the deaths of many Iranians and Kuwaitis in his wars. He additionally allowed his sons to torture and terrorize his own human beings, including athletes that performed poorly in worldwide opposition. it somewhat is perplexing for a weary and pissed off Democracy to not see it as a sturdy difficulty that he's lifeless, inspite of the potential wherein his loss of life became performed.

You asked for opinions for or against, but you seem to want to hear from only those in favour of the execution (judging from your diatribes against who disagree with you).
I am opposed to the death penalty - there have been too many mistakes in law enforcement, and it's difficult to say "Sorry, we made a mistake" to the dead. But there are crimes so dreadful that the removal of the perpetrator from our midst is really the only way to deal with it. No, I'm not sorry Saddam Hussein is dead.

bush should die BECAUSE he caused thousands of INNOCENT IRAQI people to die in the war in the name of 'justice'. If Saddam deserve to be dead because he killed a hundred something shi'ite and kurds, then how about BUSH, he caused THOUSANDS of innocent civilians to die too. Doesn't that count as genocide??
I'm not a liberal or republican but this is my opinion...think about this realy hard before arguing with me :)
and don't go telling me that our troops die too, WE STARTED THIS DUMB WAR, of course our troop have to die! its our fault, wasn't the story that was revealed of the mistreatment of the prisoners in Irag (or was it Guantanamo?) shocking enough? You know, making the men take of their cloth and lose all their dignit,y isn't this a humans right violation too?

I'm not a big proponent of executing people. But I can't say that I'm really sad when someone who has committed horrible crimes is executed. It doesn't make me feel good and I wouldn't cheer about it. I tend to think more about the victims and their loved ones.

Wow that is a tough one. I don't really believe in executing your fellow human beings but what this man did was horrible. I guess killing him would just make people that believe in his cause to think he is some sort of marter. So I guess no I wouldn't have him executed I would sentence him to life in prison and rot in jail. That sounds more appropriate for him.

I am for Sadam execution, for he is a murderes and must pay for his actions. I do not understand those of you who are against his execution. So it means that Adolf Hitler, Sadam, Bin laden and anu other dictator has the right to commit genocide but he cannot be responsible of his actions? Why are you defending such terroris? Hitler killed millions of innocent people of different races, and you said it is wrong to get rid of such beast. Do you know that Sadam used to rape women among other horrible things. Read and do research before talking non sense statements
Now, I am not defending Bush. But if he is reponsible for all this mess up in Iraq, I would be important to say that all those people behind him are responsible as well. Bush is not doing things by himself. And the people who voted for him would be responsible too. Also we need to remember that RELIGION is responsible for all this blood shed. Islam tell to their followers if they kill Americans( does not matter if they are children or women) they will go to heaven. We need to get rid of such religions.

I don't think they should execute Saddam or Bush. Bush should step down from the White House and Saddam should be in jail only.
Imagine if they execute him what will happen to us in the United Sates of America?
I think it will be another disaster like The World Trade.
