i have both a wii and 360 and i enjoy my wii alot more. i think you should aim for a wii first because theres been no good launch titles for the 360 except gears of war, but thats what i think. on the other hand if ur a fan a halo the 360 is a must have because halo 3 is coming out for the 360 in late december . but then the wii is a whole diffrent style of gaming and the 360 is your regular old gaming system with high def graphics. when i got the wii i played wii sports for 5 hours straight and the next day my arms were sore im not sure thats good or a bad thing depending if you enjoy getting a workout. another reason why the wii is better in my opinion is that it come with a free game and 2,000 blocks (512mb) . the 360 does not come with a game or memory unless you buy the premium package for 450$ and the core costs 350$ with no game or memory. the wii also is alot cheaper (250$) and its games are to, the average wii game price is 50$ while the 360s avg is 60$. the wii might be harder to find for the opening of 2007 and the 360 will be avalable. in conclusion from my prospective i think the wiis better, hoped this helped, GOOD LUCK on your decision.

i waited about 3-4 years after the initial launch before i got the original Xbox. At that time, i already had a PS2 and a Gamecube and really didn't see the need for it. I noticed later on, however, that the Xbox is the way to go for multiplayer games as well as co-op games especially shooters and RPG's. The 360 is the same way. It out performs all other systems at the moment. PS3 supposidly will have a good online engine but has yet to develop it completely. The graphics on teh 360 are great and the gameplay is very good too. If you get the 360, i'm going to say you need Xbox Live Gold. The true worth of the system is shown when playing multiplayer games especially all the new multiplayer games.
I've also always been a fan of nintendo since I was a kid. The Wii seems to be a great innovation but i think technology will get better with it as time goes by. The interaction is what makes the system fun. Anyone of any age can play... literally.. old and young and its fun.
In the end, it will come down to what types of games you like to play... multiplayer shooters/rpgs/sports/etc. Based on those options you'd have to see what your wallet can support.

i would get the wii. I'm not a real fan of microsoft but i have to admit the xbox 360 does look nice. You can watch dvds, games are backwards compatible, and more.
I like wii because of the new controller. finally something new. after all these years we would get just a little change in the controller but now this is completely different! I have to admit that the games and graphics of the wii arent as good as the xbox i am a fan on nintendo so i chose the wii. I own a ps3 and im positive none of those consoles could match the graphics of the ps3.

I would get the wii because you can interact like play tennis or something like that. I also see that it is cheaper than the 360. The 360 is great for people who like games like Halo or other games like that because the graphics are great, but I would take the Wii because though the graphics arent the best I have been a Nintendo fan and I have seen their work as the best in my opinion.

xbox360, i think, is way better than the wii. sure the wii has a really unique controler, but are the graphics up-to-date? no they still need some work. with the 360, not only can you play xbox games on it, but you can download actual arcade games, demos, and trailers using the xbox live marketplace. also, xbox360 can support HD up to 1080p. this makes Gears Of War look amazing. to add to that, the 360 also has a huge line of best seller games like Gears Of War, Rainbow Six: Vegas, Oblivion, PGR3, the Halo series, and more to come. PLUS! you can watch/download movies, music videos, play mp3's and pictures! thats my opinion of the 360. hope this helps you make a dicision

I currently have both. The wii is a good value, but the 360 has much broader genres when it comes to actual games.

im not gettin either im gettin PS3 but out of those two i would rather have the Xbox 360.. nintendo systems cant keep up with sony or xbox's graphics so Xbox 360
