I didn't vote for him either time, but if I did I sure as hell would not admit it. He is the most corrupt person that I have ever seen in public office and I am taking into account Richard Nixon. He started a war based on lies for personal gain and that should be punished not rewarded, the people that still support him must be mentally impaired and cannot or will not see the truth about this corrupt and criminal man.

I am a registered democrat who voted for George Bush twice. I would not retract my vote for him.
For those who stick with the opinion that Bush lied to get us into Iraq your argument is quite lame. The French, English, Russians and Germans all felt Saddam had WMD's. Bill Clinton and John Kerry both stated repeatedly that Saddam Hussein was the greatest threat to world peace. Probably why Kerry and Hillary both voted for the war don't you think.
I think supporters of those two should be asked the same question on vote retraction. Do their supporters really buy their lame excuse that "Bush lied to us too." ? If you do believe them you are quite gullible.
As for the anti-war protesters who will no doubt give me a "thumbs down" I ask you this: Where was your outrage when Bill Clinton was dumping tons of bombs in Bosnia? Were we attacked? Did Bosnia pose a threat? Where was your "support for the troops" when our troops corpses were being dragged naked through the streets of Mogadishu as Clinton attempted to remove Adid from power? It would appear that the anti-war crowd has selective outrage. Did Barbara Streisand voice her concern to Bill during one of her overnighters at the White House? Did Bill Mahrer seek the impeachment of Clinton? The religious right may have hijacked the Republican Party but the Democrats have a few hijackers within their ranks as well. The difference is the Democrats are playing Russian roulette with mine and my family's safety while the Republicans are just wasting my time on gay marriage.
You decide what is more dangerous.
GOD BLESS OUR TROOPS!

I did vote for Bush twice, and I would never retract either vote. Please recall that our alternatives were Al Gore and John Kerry, both of whom would have been terrible as president. Bush has succeeded on economic growth, tax cuts, federal and Supreme Court judges, he has staunchly fought terrorism, he finally did the right thing vis a vis Yasir Arafat, he has attempted Social Security reform although the asinine Democrats refused to make a serious effort at compromise, he pushed through a Medicare drug bill that is disastrous, but maybe better than we might have got otherwise. Things could have been much, much worse under either of those two losers.
Re: We have gone from high international regard to low international regard--people who make this claim greatly exaggerate the esteem in which the US was held prior to 9/11--the world has been full of anti-Americanism for decades. We are more at risk when we are seen as weak, as under Carter and Clinton, than when we are feared, even if we are hated by a few million more people.

I didn't have much of a choice! Gore was just scary, whenever he was asked a question, he said he would resolve it via "Executive Decision"! What happened to the democratic process??
And John Kerry (and his "purple scratch" award) is almost as disingenuous as Hillary Clinton! What more is there to say?

I didn't vote for him but know very many who did. Each and everyone of those people regret having voted for the "Butcher from Texas".
He has tarnished America. Our reputation throughout the world is at it's lowest point in our history.
He has continually lied to the American people, put us in such a mess in iraq just because he personally hated Saddam.
This question ought to be put to all the people on the link i've provided.

I think the group that has most to be sorry for in their voting for that person are Christians. How could anyone who calls themselves a Christian vote for someone like him? He is a deceitful, harmful egocentric nut who has led this beloved country of ours from the heights of respect to the depths of international hatred--and in case you don't realize this--that very fact puts each one of us in harm's way. As we've been told by his administration time and again--it is only a matter of time before we are attacked again, and our bogus war in Iraq has spawned a whole new generation of terrorists whose number one target is USA.

Oh, yes, I did (vote for him) and I most certainly would.
But not because of Iraq, or the Patriot Act, or 99% of the other reasons why liberals are chasting him. My disappointment in Bush is because, .....
