How does FSU (Florida State Univerty) rate as a college?

I'm thinking of going there in the near future and I want everybody's opinion who's been there.

It's a good school in a lot of respects -- they have strong school spirit for FSU football, it's in a great town if you like to drink, they have good programs in things like paleontology and medicine.

It's alright academically. It would not be considered one of the nation's top universities but its certainly not a bad school.
