I used to prefer contacts because I was insecure about having glasses. But lately I've worn my glasses a lot more often because they are more comfortable for me. The contacts usually tend to itch and dry out on me. Plus I found a pair of glasses that look awesome on me, you just have to find the right pair of frames. Anyway I'd recommend you get both for now, so you can experiment and figure out which you prefer. If you can't get both, I'd recommend glasses, because if your eyes get an infection, you can't wear the contacts, and if you don't have the glasses as back up, then what will you do?

I would have to say between the two I personally like contact lenses better. I have had to wear glasses since i was about 1 yr. old, but before that i had to wear a patch. I didn't mind glasses but then when i got the chance to try contact lenses they made a huge difference. They not only made me more confident with my appearance but my vision as well. The only thing i had trouble with was getting used to putting them in my eyes because it is different but when you get the hang of it it is much easier.

well, they do have big differences:
eyeglass: they have a frame and you wear them around almost everyday & most people wearing eyeglasses usually gets more blurred every year.
contact lens: need special training[it took me 25 hours to train:D]. there are actually 2 kinds: soft and hard lens. most people start with hard lens. the one you wear in daylight or when you are wake usually keeps your eye degrees[or vision blurr] from going up. the one where you wear in nightime[some people cannot wear this] is more expensive but it helps you ALOT. for most people, it actually makes your vision better. i have the night one and i take it off in the morning. it may take time. once i take it off, i can see perfectly well. if you get contact, WASH IT WELL.
soo, some people cannot wear contact lens. its better for your eyes to get contact lens, but it may be much more expensive than eyeglasses. but contact lens work for me and my friends. if you get contact lens, dont be scared. it may hurt on the first time you wear it. but the next day [for me], it felt like nothing and it was very comfy. you may want to ask your eye doctor which is better for your eyes according to your vision blurriness and everything. your eyes are very important~choose wisely!HOPE THIS HELPS:D

If you need corrective lenses for everything, not just distance or reading, then I'd say get contacts. They are always just the right distance from your eye and they give the best correction. If you only need correction for a certain activity then go with glasses. They are more easily taken on and off.

Contacts alll the way for me!! But you are only to have lenses in for 8 - 10 hours (depending on type) so you can get a pair of glasses aswell to give your eyes a chance to 'breathe'
NB In case your optician doesn't say this NEVER ever use tap water to store your lenses.

I use both, but prefer eyeglasses. I don't have to worry about infections or taking them out daily like I would with contact lenses.

I have both. I wear contacts more than I wear glasses. I can see better with contacts. Glasses are a cute accessory. I usually wear my glasses in the mornings and evenings.

The quality of contact lenses have really improved in the last decade, and the cost has dropped considerably, too. But it is beneficial to have both, for obvious convenience and to allow your eyes to breathe.

Well some people don't have eyes that are the correct shape to ware contacts, like me and I am paranoid about things in my eyes.
So I say glasses all the way.

i take advantage of the two; contacts for whilst i'm doing something lively, like tennis. and that i take advantage of glasses for whilst i'm in simple terms going to artwork or something. yet my eyes are not that undesirable. frequently at artwork I take the glasses off and could see properly adequate. If I had to choose for between the two, i could ought to pass with disposable contacts.
