While enrolling a child for school, the secretary asked this very question of the father of one of the students. He looked her straight in the eye, and with quite a bit of irritation in his voice snapped, "If there's an emergency call 911!" True story.

Put in your mobile phone address book I.C.E and the number of the person you would like emergency to call if they find you unwell. This is becoming international and is a terrific idea , it could save your life. If you have meds or a particular problem you could list it here in place of an address as they will also have a number to use for more information.If you think this is a good idea tell your loved ones , friends and workmates . If one life is saved its a top idea.

If you are in the state of Oregon, we dial 911 and they can help you with either the fire department, the police, or an ambulance.
If you just moved into the area where you are living, just ask someone who has lived there a long time.
