Let's see. Saddam has been out of the picture since 2003 and the world seems to be a safer place, at least as far as Americans are concerned.
But with North Korea, Iran, Syria, other nation states, and non-nation states that support terrorism, I'd have to guess that the world will become less safe in the very near future.

No, it is unsafer. We just destabilized the Middle East and made Iran the power in the region!
Ironic that Saddam didn't even hate Americans!

No.
Saddam was not a terrorist, not were the people of Iraq. They were and are today, all scape goats for the bush regime to have cause for bush's war for oil and Cheney's for Halliburton contracts.
It's all about the money and the fact that Saddam threatened bushs old mans life, and bushey had to have revenge, no matter what the cost to our military personnel and innocent Iraqey civilians.
We are not fighting terrorists in Iraq, we are providing real time training for terrorist insurgents from all mid east countries to fight to remove the US from their soil.
Time to wake up and smell the stench of death, and corruption.

well...
in the middle east it is not.
saddam was kind of the big brother figure, keeping all his little brothers in check from killing each other and doing crazy stuff (since he was a fierce dictator type)
now everyone wants to kill each other.
terrosist attacks have been going on for a long time...people just pay more attention now so it seems worse, but its probably about the same...for now at least
