I am not sure if Canada has room for all the Americans moving there that don't like what is going on in the U.S. I think a better plan would be to correct the problems here. The U.S. does have some positives and that is the people. Unfortunately the Corporations and the rich have taken over the running of the country. Capitalism has become the economics of greed and very few people are able to break out and live well in America. I have seen it go down hill mostly from Reagan on. Did you know that before WW l l that woman stayed in the home and there was no need for a two income family. Now it is the norm. People wonder why there is more crime. Maybe they should look at this as one of the causes.

Poor misguided person.....maybe you should look at the truths about Canada.
18 to drink in some Provinces, 19 in others...although has that stopped anyone from drinking before that?
Free health care....LMAO.....come up to Canada, where aprox 50% of your income will go to some form of tax and still tell me it is free health care!! Then, if you want that, fine. Be ready to stand in line with the 10% of Canadians who can;t find a doctor who is taking new patients, or join the month long waiting lists for simple surgeries.
Good in education? About the same as the US, nothing much different between the two countries.
No war?? Where have you been? Try our deployment in Afghanistan under the NATO/UN mandate.
Laid back? More like over stressed. Most Canadians work far longer days then their American counterparts, and are just as stresses as Americans.
and it goes on......
The US and Canada has its pluses and minuses, but for the reasons you give, it isn't worth it.

i love america i don't have anything against canada though. but comparing the u.s to hitler is a little much at least our intensions are good and we don't randomly kill people for no reason. i mean even in the war and everything we try not to go anyplace that innocent people might accidentally get hurt yeah thats hitlerish alright. if you're going to think like that then i'd be more than happy to see you go somewhere else. but if you want a huge difference from the u.s. why are you only going to canada its not THAT far away... you must be on crack or something wow you've got problems

"Still better than Mexicans?" Jesus, you are a racist. That is an extremely offensive statement.
I like that Canada has a single-payer national health insurance program. We here in the U.S. are terrified of having such a program because Americans believe it would turn us into "commies." What a bunch of blather. Health care is a human right. Everybody - everybody - is entitled to health care provided by their government. I don't care who you are.
You lost all cred with me when you made your blatantly racist statement, however.

So you're gonna move to Canada, which is right next door.
If you don't like it and don't want to do anything about it, then by all means, pack up and leave.
But if you're comparing us to Hitler, well, then when you're nice and comfy in your Canadian home and American Troops come marching through because we're taking over the world, be sure to mention this post.
Why don't you stay and discuss politics, hoping for change when really were sitting here blathering at each other. It's more fun that way.
