I own an Audiovox CDM8910. This plug is located on the back of the phone in the upper left hand corner, next to the antenna. I've looked in the manual and nowhere does it describe what it is. Or least I haven't found any such description.

Believe it or not it is for an antenna booster. If it was a headphone jack or adapter jack you would have seen it in the handbook .

It could be a couple things. It could be a place to plug in a charger or a head set. Also, if it is a camrea phone, it could be a place to plug in your phone to your computer and download them. It could be a place to plug into computer and buy games and media and download them or store data like a portible drive
