You need to prove to them you have a need and that you'd be responsible and offer to pay in what way you can depending on your age and responsibilities--dazzle them with rational maturity and how can they say no?

ok it's hard to answer without knowing why they won't let you have one. But usually, it has to do with them wondering whether you're mature enough to deal with a plan etc... Sell it to them by telling them about the many prepaid options that are offered by Virgin mobile, T-mobile, Cingulair and so many others. I have virgin mobile and its ok and you can get a phone and a number for really cheap and then put money on your phone and be set. It's a really good option because there'll be no surprise bills at the end of the month. As for convincing your parents that you need a phone, play up how they'll always be always be able to contact you and you can get a hold of them in emergencies etc. Just sell the idea to them by emphasizing things they want (like to always know where you are) and not things like how it will benefit you (you'll be able to talk to your friends on your own line). Put the focus on them, and their wants for you and you'll get your cell phone.

You can't get a cell phone with out your parents signing for you so your next best plan would be to get a prepaid phone(Go Phone) but they are very expensive to use. If your parents find out that you have went against their wishes by getting a prepaid be prepared to give up your phone.

You could get a prepaid phone and by you minuites well u can also go to any celluar one and get unlimited minutes and tex messaging and choose what phone you want i got a Razr for $50
but i got mine for a bargan it was for $25 ther preson offede me a sale on it and i have no troulbe with the Plan I live in PA. and i get the limt though just WV. and it's pretty cool for the plan my aunt lves in the woods and you might not find this good but i do in the woods 2 survice bars and very prower bar stands for 2

Just go to the magical cell phone store that gives away free phones and service to preteens whose parents won't let them have them. They're all over the place.

Um... You can't realy just get a phone. You need to have good money and a steady job. If i were u i would not get one but if you could get one i would suggest a pink motorola razr v3 from Verizon Wireless.

well u can get a prepaid phone like what i have and u just have to pick a plan that u like and buy min when u need them. they are nice because u dont have to pay a bill every month u just get min when u need them.

If you are young enough to have your parents tell you NO you don't need one anyway. Do you have a job to pay for the phone bills?

You don't need a cellphone, your parents are right! If you need to make a phone call, in an emergency everyone and their dog has a cellphone. You can always borrow one to make an emergency call, or ask someone to make a call for you.

get a Tracfone or a NET 10 phone they are both prepaid and you get really good service and you dont have to sign up for a contract
