Yep.
I have this thing where i babble when i'm nervous. Actually,i babble all the time. But when i'm nervous, the amount of babbling increases. And somehow, i always manage to babble on and on about how nervous i am and how stupid i am to be nervous and how i can't believe i just said i'm nervous.
Yeah... i think i'm ridiculous.
But i figure that the best way to deal with being nervous and any insecurities is to admit them right at the get-go.

On a date, yes. A job interview, only if they ask.

Not on a date or job interview. But before any prefomance I usually tell someone. Or I'd tell my roommate before I went to speeh class when I knew I was going to have to speak.

sure, why not?? The other person is human, too, right? (well, presumably anyway!) I think it makes the other person know that you are being real and not trying to fake your way through something. When I was younger, I probably wouldn't have admitted it -- but now, why not?!

id never admit it, but i bet that others can tell from body language and perhaps a shaking of the voice here and there

I don't have to admit it. People can see that I fidgit with my jewelry and my clothes when I'm nervous.

because then, they know & I know that they know. and it never turns out well.
But I always confess to dates when i'm nervous, alot of guys think that's hot.
I do.

I don't have to because it's all too obvious in my body language....when I'm nervous I give myself away, mostly by fidgeting.
