Well you have done all you can do...by stopping drinking. Whatever effects the alcohol will have on the baby has already been done and can not be reversed. So there is nothign more you can do, except to not start drinking again until yuo find out you are NOT pregnant (if that is the case).
I woudlnt worry too much abotu the effects. Not that I condone drinking when pregnant or anything, but the effects of alcohol usually happen when a woman drinks all the time...although I am aware that even one drink can have negative effects on teh baby.
Also, be aware, that stress on the baby (caused by you worrying abotu this situation, which is not under your control anymore) is not good for hte baby either.
Just stay sober like you are, and whatever will be will be.
Good luck, and congrats (on the baby and for stopping drinking).

I don't think it's affected your baby as much as if you were to drink now. At least you have stopped and you realize the effects it will have. I drank before i found out i was pregnant and my baby is fine. It says in the baby center magazine that i have received the survey on there says that 18 percent of women admit to having a few drinks on special occasions.... dont fret and glad to hear you have stopped! take a home pregnancy test and make sure you go the hospital! good luck!

Yes, it can affect the baby, but probably not so much. Most people are over reactionary now days. But do get tested so you know for sure. Continue to not drink. People used to drink during pregnancy up until the 70s. It took us that long to figure out it was bad, so its not as horrible as people make it sound. Relax, everything will be fine.

LOADS of women have that happen. And yet fetal alcohol syndrome is pretty rare. Don't worry too much, especially if you don't even know if you're pregnant yet.

Do a search for more on the topic, but be prepared for a lot of things being overblown. FAS is pretty much a problem limited to chronic drunks, not the countless women who booze for the first two weeks before they find out, or the ones who have a couple of beers a week throughout their pregnancies.

I had a bottle of wine and 3 margaritas for my bday when I first got pregnant BUT this was before I was a month along and I didnt know I was pregnant. OF course I stopped smoking and drinking ( occasional bottle of wine ) when I found out. early stages you might be okay and it depends how much drink BUT I never did
take the test, go see a dr. My dr told me it was okay to have a half glass of wine occassionaly while pregnant.

OK stop drinking now, find out if you are preggo. If you are make sure you inform your doctor on your first check up. It does take about 3 weeks after conception to have umbilical circulation so depending how far along you are and when you drank your baby might be ok.

Did you just decide today that you might be pregnant?
Sorry, but I don't understand why you'd intentionally drink a lot recently if you had any reason to believe before today that you might be pregnant.
It's good at least that you've stopped now...The next thing you need to do is get yourself to a doctor and find out for sure if you are or are not pregnant and if you are, be honest with him/her about your recent alcohol consumption.

If you have to ask a question like that only shows you might be selfish mom and probably won't be a responsible parent. But at least you've stopped and only you can control whether you will drink again.
hate to be strict but you have to think about the baby so please prove me wrong.

If you might be pregnant and you've been drinking, then yes, it will hurt the baby. All of their organs are forming right now and you need to take care of yourself. I would find out if you are or not, then call your doctor and find out if the baby is going to be ok. Maybe you should of found out first??????
