Does Disney World count as an amusement park?

I like Islands of Adventure at Universal Studios Orlando best. The themeing of each of their "lands" is incredible. Instead of just having blacktop, the ground is themed to match the land. This is something Disney just doesn't do. Everything at IoA is thought out to give the customer a better experience, not to save money. The rides are also great. They have a much better assortment of actual rides, rather than just sitting in a moving cart and watching stuffed animals lip sync to a soundtrack (a la disney)

I personally like Paramount Canada's Wonderland in Vaughn Ontario (north of Toronto). I have gone every year at least once for the last 21 years and it never ceases to entertain me.
They change their rides every few years according to popularity, etc. which helps with keeping it fun.
They also have a variety of types of rides in all different ranges of excitment. They have a large water park, different indoor activities, a lot of conerts and live performances (including big-name bands) and an amazing children's park.
They are moderately priced, although the prices have climbed immensely in the last ten years. They are great for groups as well, which is an added bonus.

Well, I haven't been to many theme parks. I like six flags because of the inane rollercoasters, but that might be bias because I got the gold pass that lets you basically skip lines. Went on every roller coaster and some more then once (Nitro 5 times) in one day!!!

I like Disney Parks (Florida) b/c they are clean, have a wide variety of things to see and do. They also attempt to keep people entertained while they are waiting in line. Oh, they also have quality food even though it can be pricey.
