Sounds like round ligament pain. For me it was worst with my second. Just try to support your belly when changing position, and talk to your Dr. about it to make sure it isn't something else.
Good luck!

I am 33 weeks preg. and it is normal to have lower abdomen pains and pelvic area. Depending on your weeks of pregnancy. If you are far along than the pelvic area is just preparing itself for birth. The lower abdomen is just the baby putting pressure on your stomach. I lie on my sides but switch constantly, when I do move; move your arms first for support then your legs. If you are trying to get out of bed; position your legs first over the bed and then push yourself up and sit there for about a minute. Then get up....but if your are experiencing any cramps, light blood, or leakage of clear fluid call your doctor.

During pregnancy all of your muscles are being stretched and pulled beyond what they are used to. When you roll over in bed you are demanding those lower ab muscles to do the work. So it makes sense that they would hurt. Another thing taking place is the hormone that causes your joints to loosen up allowing your hips to expand. This causes discomfort throughout your pelvic region and when you try to roll over then that discomfort is intensified.

That's very normal when you are pregnant. I find that it helps to pull my abdominal muscles in and turn slowly. It minimizes the discomfort. Good luck!

Yes, it's common. Your ligaments are very loose when you're pregnant so it happens. If it really bothers you though, you should always talk to your doc.
