My grandpa used to say all the time: "las palabras se las lleva el viento" & "una accion vale mas de mil palabras" ...

This translate literaly to:
***words are taken away by the wind ...
***one action is valued more than one thousand words ...

I do beleive that actions are more powerfull than all the words that we can say. Words are powerfull when we follow them with actions. An you just imagine all that all of use would've done, good & bad, if every time we've said something, we actually followed by that action we ment...

They're both good. They goes in hand-in-hand
like peanut butter and jelly, salt and pepper, love and happiness.

You can start with the power of words which might effect you first and then start thinking about the power of gestures.

Like this:: Someone said cheers up you are not alone.(you may smile a bit) then you go out and on the street you is someone needing help with just the littlest thing and its not a big deal for you to stop and help and then you are on your way again.
That person you just help with the power of gestures turns that person to gives the power of words to the next person. and so on and so on and so on and so on and so on .........

I think it depends some gestures an non verbalization has more effect then words cause me personal I am great at blocking people out an forgetting what they said, but silence kills me cause I don't know what they are thinking.

actions speak louder than words...... so many exaples!
would you be more intimidated of someone saying "I'm gonna kick your a s s" or someone actually raising their fist with a really pissed off look?
