Politician in the house now???

Question

I hired a caregive 6 years ago who was a very aggrogant , dominate woman. I wanted to fire her oftern but my Mother who has dementia became attached to her. The caregive ris 73 years old now. She did not tell me her age when I hired her and I was so much in need of her that I did not ask. Now her Daughter ran for local alderman in our City and got elected. She comes to my Mother's house regularly to talk BUSINESS WITH HER DAUGHTER. The daughter husband is the local CHIEf of the Firedepartment in the area of town I live in. This is too much for me who is a simple person. I cannot fire the Caregiver as she will take me to court for money etc. I do not like this situation but no choice I think??? Too much politics and knowing my personal business in my house. I am uncertain how to handle this.

I'm no politician but I can say If your mother likes her, you should love her! I can say this because my mother has been in that field for years. She is the one you want happy so don't lose focus :)
