If you have concealer use that on your blemishes allow it to dry before applying foundation. Use some pressed powder over your foundation Instead of perfume try some astringent or a little alcohol on them tonite to dry them up. If you don't have alcohol dab a little toothpaste on them but don't sleep in it.

Do you have any Honey? Honey does REALLY well with my face. just dab it on, and leave it on for a couple of hours tonight. if you have the supplies, you could even dab it on, then put a bandaid over them and sleep with the honey on your face. There is something in honey that helps a LOT.
You could also steam your face for about a half hour, this will help bring down the bumps. The easiest, most effective way I do it is get a pot full of water and put it on the stove on high. Then just stand over the pot with your face hovering over the steam... It feels really nice as well.
Something else to do if your blemishes are really large and deep in your pores: get some epsem salt, and hot water, dip a washcloth in the hot water and hold over your blemish for a half hour or more. This will help the blemish to die down, and not be so large.
Just remember, whatever you do, try not to dry-out your skin. Your skin will then try to over-confiscate for the dryness, and you may get even MORE acne! So after your done with all of your treatments, don't forget to moisturize!!
The day of, you would do well to use a nice liquid foundation to cover up any that are just too much for your treatments.
I hope everything goes smoothly!
Good Luck, and HAPPY NEW YEAR!

[1] wash your face with any ANTI BACTERIAL soap that you have. Wash with warm to hot water, then rinse with cool water.

The hot water will open your pores, thus allowing them to be thoroughly cleansed, adn the cool water will close them again, making the pores on your face look miniscule.

[2] Make a paste by mixing baking soda and rubbing alcohol. Dab this paste on your blemishes and let it sit til it dries, then RINSE it off [do not use soap] Don't do this more than six or seven times to prevent drying out your skin too much.

[3] Make sure you moisturize your skin before you sleep. A moistirizing lotion will work for this, just use a very thin coat over your face.

IF you find the rubbing alcohol paste is too drying for your skin type, try using toothepaste every other time.

GOOD LUCK!

Steam cleanse your pores with really hot water, i.e. boil water or microwave some in a bowl and BE CAREFUL, place a towel over the bowl and let the steam clean your pores for about 5-10 min. Be in a comfortable position. Then Sleep with toothpaste on your blemishes. That always helps me. Ice water also helps I hear. Haven't tried that though. Good Luck

the best answer here is the toothpaste. sleep with it overnight on your breakouts. be sure not to apply anything to open or popped sores. this will just cause infection or irritation, which will not help your problem.
DO NOT apply perfume or rubbing alcohol or soap to your face. be sure to use a facial cleanser without fragrance or oil. it is also important to use an oil free fragrance free moisturizer to prevent the skin from continuing its overproduction of oil, which results from overdrying the skin

Supposedly, toothpaste works if you believe all of those "beauty" talk shows.

In the future, I would recommend a daily regimen of washing your face with Noxzema. I have not had a zit since 1984, since using it...

Good luck, and try to have sex more, that has statistically been proven to reduce acne as well...

I've heard that toothpaste will dry a zit up. I tried it once or twice and it diminished the size by quite a bit.

Scrub your face very very good using hot water to open your pores...dab it dry and apply straight rubbing alcohol to your face. It will sting but it works. In the morning make sure to wash your face of again with soap that will smoothen you skin.

Whatever you put on your face be sure to directly apply it to the pimple itself because you don't want to dry out the skin around it and make your face become dry and peely.
