i would say omar minaya because he's smarter when it comes to talent and signing free agents then georg steinbrenner is plus he's a good evealuator of talent and has this mets team built to contend for a long time

They both have huge payrolls, but Minaya seems to get more bang for his money. Minaya has built a team with talent and chemistry, while Steinbrenner has put together a team of life less robots. Minaya all the way!

They're not comparable. Steinbrenner is an owner while Minaya is a General Manager. Compare Minaya to Cashman. Then I'd take Cashman hands down.

No one is baseball can compare to the BOSS, he has the track record and the RINGS to prove it when Minaya has 7 WS rings then and only then could you even begin to use him in the same sentence as the BOSS. But we know that will never happen with the MUTTS from Flushing.

Steinbrenner, he is losing his touch. As a Red Sox and Mets fan I could not be happier.

Minaya. He's aggresive with players still in their prime and has a solid farm system.

Apples and oranges question. Miyana is a GM, Steiny is an owner. Omar vs Brian Cashman (Omar) or the Wilpons vs Steiny (Steiny) are fairer contests.
