would it matter to you either way?? Why do you need to know?? I think that if he wanted you to know, he would tell you if you are a true friend. ARE you a true friend? Would you stick by him if he is gay??

If he/she is really your friend, then why do you care at all? that shouldn't make a difference at all. sexuality is just another quality in a person, as is color or race. there is no reason to think differently of someone because they like the same sex. If you really want to know, the best way to find out is to ask that person. But keep in mind that you can easily offend them by asking something like that. Think, how you would feel if someone else asked you the same question? just let it go. time will come when if they are gay, they will let you know. don't worry about that and worry about the friendship you two have

I really don't think it should matter if he is your friend his sexuality should not make a difference. Will you stop being his friend if he is gay? Leave it alone. Time will tell and hopefully all involved will mature enough to handle the situation (as in asking/or remaining friends). There is no way to tell for sure unless he is running around with a rainbow on his back...

You could talk to him but he maybe afraid to answer your question if he isnt comfortable about his sexuality. He may also be afraid of losing his friendship with you and how you would accept him and other people as well.
You could start a conversation about people being gay and ask him how he feels about it. If he knows that your accepting of it he may open upto you.
I would just love your friend for who they are and not worry about what he does behind closed doors. Let him know that your friendship means alot to you and your always there for him no matter what. Happy Holidays!!

If this person is really your friend you wouldn't care if they were gay or not. Wait until your friend is ready to tell you. I have a close friend who is gay and it is just part of who he is. He isn't different because we all know. I wouldn't worry.

why does his sexuality matter to you...it sounds like you are worried he may hit on you or something. I say "oh pleeease" don't flatter yourself because gay guys do have standards as well.
You mentioned in your question that he is your friend...remember he is your FRIEND.

Well, I hate to state the obvious, but ASK HIM! If you think he'll be offended, then drop it. If his sexual preference doesn't really matter to the health of your friendship, let it go.
