No matter who will build the fence it is being constructed bc of fear of terrorists. With this Bush's foreign policy the fence will not help. The terrorists will be trying to get into the USA territory from the sky from the seas from under the ground. That who is looking for always find it, later or sooner. How stupid ppl are that cannot understand the simpliest things

The republicans pass a bill to build a fence on the border to make everyone think that they wanted to stop the illegal aliens.

But the fact that they didn't provide any funding for the fence shows that all they have to offer Americans, is a facade.

First this fence will only be a 1/3 of the border.
Second, it won't stop illegal immigration. Build a 40' fence and a 41' ladder defeats it.
Third, and most important, to stop illegal immigration, employers must STOP hiring illegals. No jobs, no reason to come to America?

Oh and probably Halliburton!
