I was jumping a double on my motorcycle and landed on the uphill side of the landing ramp. Didn't crash, but I had the balls of my feet on the pegs instead of the middle of my feet like I was supposed to, and had a very hard impact when I landed.

My feet bent UPWARD, and I immediately crawled around on the ground with the top and heels of my feet on fire (not literally). Never could put pressure on left foot, and very small (1/2 cm) range of motion in all directions.

3 days later (after Resting/Icing/Elevating/No walking) Larger range of motion, still slightly swollen, no bruising, but still no weight bearing allowed. When I put pressure, I feel the intense pain along the top of my ankle (tarsals) and the back of my heel.

Usually ankle sprains are from rolling to either side. Have never had it from bending my foot UP. I cannot see a doctor (finances) I would appreciate any advice.

Ok, been there done that, got the Tshirt sold the damn thing on ebay.

I had an ankle injury, and no insurance either. Finanace sucked.

And yes, you can see a Dr. Call up your local free clinic. That's what they are there for. Chances are you can qualify. Over here it's only $4 per visit. When I took physical therapy for my pinch nerve and ankle, same amount.

You need to get this looked at, at least, so that it can heal properly.

If need be, call and find hospitals that have a funding for people with no insurance. If that's the case, then you maybe able to see a Dr. there.

I do know Social Services has a program for those that cannot afford a hospital stay on their own. It pays for it.

Just a few resources.

I was in a similar situation last year. I had insurance though, I fractured the golfball like bone at the bottom of my leg. The only thing the doctor did for me was to give me painkillers and a boot to wear for about a month, don't try to put weight on it and keep it elevated as much as possible, the more you stay off of it the sooner it will heal, but I would consider getting an x-ray if nothing else. Good luck.

Sounds like a broken bone. Keep it immobilized, stay off it for 4 to 6 weeks.

my girl played basketball and softball. she had several servere sprains, the coach told us to soak a brown paper bag with vinegar and put it on the sprain over night.
i can testify that this treatment works. you can try this. it may work for you, but your injury is already three days old. i don't know if it will work. hope it helps.
