dont scratch it because it will only spread bacteria and make you more irritated. try monistat cool wipes. keeping the area clean and dry works. If not ask your doctor for a vagnial anti fungal cream i got one and it works when i get a yi. really the itch doesn't go away until you've used the monistat and gotten it out of your vagina. good luck.

If the creams don't help, there are also pills for yeast infection. Then again it may not even be an yeast infection, in which case you need a doctor to find out what it is and treat it

Hello, I'm on the second week and seeing definite improvement on my yeast infection symptoms:
https://bitly.im/aMD67
Note that: If the yeast infection doesn't respond to over the counter treatment, prescription medication will likely be necessary. Similarly, if the symptoms return after two months of being treated, you should contact the doctor for professional treatment rather than resorting again to home treatment.

If this is the first time you have experienced a yeast infection, you should schedule an appointment to have the condition treated by a doctor instead of resorting to home treatment

Take a vinegar-water sitzbath.
This not only helps the itching but actually gets rid of the yeast infection.
Ca. 1/2 cup of vinegar to 1 Gal water.
If your butt fits, you can use a dish pan inside the bathtub or shower and sit in it for 10 minutes.

is it a yeast infection? a lot of women think they have a yeast infection and it is trich or something. it has happened to me. what is happening to you sounds like what happened to me. i was trying to treat something when it was something else. trich isn't necessarily sexually transmitted. in my case, it was not.
if you see your doctor and do have a yeast infection, s/he can give you a med that will work within 24 hrs to totally get rid of the infection.
in the meantime, i don't know what to tell you about the itching, because it could be something other than a yeast infection.
maybe try one of the things the other people have posted.
good luck!
