The BETTER question: why do MOST people actually feel GOOD that Saddam will be executed? Are they ok?
First of all, what the hell did Saddam do to me? Why would I want him dead? You can't even give me ONE good reason. He has nothing to do with me or my family, I don't know him personally, why should I hate him?
Second of all, why does the US care about how some people rule their country? Let them rule how ever the F-U-C-K they want, if the people don't like it, then they should just leave.
Third of all, this is the stupidest question ever.
Have a nice day.

Because it's sad when a society allows things to become so bad that they refuse to act until execution is the only answer.
What Saddam is being executed for was not unpredictable. Not by any means. The Iraqi people should have stopped him before he murdered all those people.
But he DOES deserve it. He SHOULD be hanged. He WILL be punished. We're just not happy about it.

it's called compasion. Most people have it. It's not that they don't want him to be executed (well some don't) but it's human nature to feel sad/bad about death. No matter who or why death is death. A life is about to be taken for good reasons or bad reasons, it's still life, and that life is coming to an end. So I guess it's just human nature to feel some sorrow. I know I have a bad feeling in my stomach because I know for a fact Someone is about to die.

This person doesn't feel sad. Buh-bye,Saddam!
"Saddam is paying the price for murdering tens of thousands of Iraqis. This is an unprecedented feeling of happiness. ... Nothing matches it, no festival or marriage or birth." — Abu Sinan, a resident of Sadr City, Baghdad's impoverished Shiite slum.

Is this one of those Biblical things that says "turn the other cheek'? I really feel bad for his family but not for him. He did or had lots of killings in his home land and that's inexcusable to him.

yeah I'd say that they're just fine......i think its not that they feel sad for him but the whole situation in general,,all the people he had killed,,the way he ran Iraq,,the way he ran when we were after his crappyass,,the way he made the mess he's in right now,,,it was his choosing which is sad because he could have done a whole lot better for his country if he wanted but no,,he just killed people instead of helping them..

Some people have big hearts and can even forgive the most despicable.
I find these people a little naive, but yes they are ok.

Yes and no. He did do a lot of horrible things but someone out there might love him. A stretch maybe, who knows. If so then I feel bad for them.

Not to get all preachy or anything (please don't bombard me with insults!), it's against some people's religions (like Catholicism) to execute others, even if what they did was terribly wrong. Yes, I FEEL that he definitely deserves it, but no, if I had it my way I wouldn't execute him.
