I do not see this as a problem. I would guess Carmello will average at least 25ppg after he returns, for several reasons. One, Carmello is an establish scorer and star who will demand the ball (and Coach Karl will demand Iverson pass it). Two, Iverson averaged 7+ apg the last two seasons, and is a quality passer. Three, Iverson genuinely wants to win and knows he neats Carmello to do so. Finally, the two demand the ball in different parts of the court (and shot clock), that is, Iverson likes to drive to the lane, but is often happy to dish it off to a teammate on the block (where Carmello is often waiting).

I think Carmello and Camby will get nearly as many shots as before (Camby may get more), though I would guess that JRSmith would get fewer and Earl Boykins will get far fewer (once Smith and Anthony return of course).

It will be fun to watch when Carmello gets back!

Carmello is i think 3rd or 2nd in the league in scoring and iverson is in the top 5 to i think so i think A.I wil knock carmello off that bcuz hes point gard and a ball hog and then i think they wont get along and one of em has to go unless they work like a team

Iverson is neva a ball hog, even if he scored 46 points yestaday, he still passed tha ball a whole lot. Carmelo and A.I. have already practiced togetha and they seem to be gettin along fine so carmello should still be able to score!!! And you can stop being a hata and fall bac

Carmello will concede the court to A.I. for the short term just to show the man respect, but this honeymoon will only last if the Nuggets go all the way - which is unlikely.

BIG Comparison: Stephon Marbury and Steve Francis of the New York Knicks. They both do score but they have a hard time doing it. Plus, the Knicks are one of the worst teams in the NBA because of that reason. All A.I. and Melo can do is get along and find a way to get everyone involved in their strategy.

I don't know what games ya'll been watching but AI IS NOT a ball hog! AI has NEVER BEEN a ball hog. He just play his *** off and carried this crappy team for us for the last 10 years! The Sixers will NEVER find another player who played like it was their last game EVERY game.

I watched him kick *** and PASSthe ball and rack up over 40 points last night for Denver. I'll be a happy mutha' to see him help Denver win the championship!

Ball hog! Please!

i think its a crazy team now melo is 1st in ppg in the league and iverson is 2ND, in the past iverson had to do all the work cuz his team lacked talent, i mean cmon he carried the sixers for 10 years, but now he doesn't want MVP or the highest ppg, he wants a championship ring, and if he focuses on steals assists, he can be a great team player, i put my money on the nuggets for championship this year!
