So, I have a TV Tuner on my computer. I was curious to know, if I plug the coax from my VCR to my TV Tuner card, can I record the VCR's onto my computer then burn them on DVD's. One reason I was wondering is for home movies that are beginning to go bad. Is there any certain software i Need?

Thanks,
Alex

No. The coax connector on the TV tuner card is only an output. Most video capture cards use RCA connectors (yellow, red, white). You're TV Tuner card may have RCA inputs, but you'd have to check the manual. If you do have RCA inputs than you could record off of your VCR.
