Has anyone ever lived in Manhattan, Kansas? What is there to do?

Their is a lake close by Tuttle Creek Lake.
Plenty of Golf Courses, Theatres, the usual stuff.
Some of the local clubs have bands play on a regular basis, including rock, country, jazz.

I lived in near by Ogden and at Ft Riley.
There is NOTHING to do !
Just hang out at the mall, and dream of other places.
The two main employers in the area are Kansas State Univerisity and The US Army (Ft Riley).
