Basically, I'm suppose to be getting a contract phone tomorrow. I'm 17 and I'm gonna have my mum come with me because I can't do it alone because of my age. We can't use her bank account or anything like that so is it possible to get the phone in my bank account & name but my mum JUST to sign the forms as she's over 18?
Help appreciated. :)

So in carphone warehouse I can use my bank details and my name but my mother signs the contract/or whatever it is?

the direct debit can be signed by your mother, so in reality the money for your bills will automatically be taken out of your mum's bank account- that is the only way for you to get a contract phone.

IF carphone warehouse are doing things properly then it would have to go in your mothers name and the bank details would initially have to be in your mothers name (as this is part of the credit check from what i understand) but most of the networks will allow you to change the bank details over to yours after first payment.

The contract has to be in the name of a LEGAL adult.
which means it will have to go in your mums name

your mum is the only person who ask for your benefints whether in the present time or in the future so follow her advice even if that does not suit your wills now
