Before or after New years?

When I put one up, I'd typically take it down the weekend of New Years...but at one time I lived in a house where the dining room was never used, so I left the tree up in there year 'round and changed the decorations according to the season or holiday coming up (mardi gras, easter, summer, 4th of july, halloween, thanksgiving)

Nowadays I live in a small apartment so I don't put up a full sized tree...i have a potted evergreen that's about 2' tall (maybe) and I bring it in and hang bows on it...I put it back outside this morning...

All depends on how much time I'm going to have. Usually take it down New Years Day. But we are expecting a baby in the family so this year I took it down the day after.

This is a personal choice decision. We keep our Christmas decorations up until after Jan 4th, no 2 daughters birthday. A friend of mine had hers down Boxing Day (Dec 26th). Another friend had hers up 1st Dec as was all over it Christmas night.
Most leave them up until New Years Eve here in Aust.

We usually get our tree around this time of twelve months, and we don't take our tree down till January 1st. we've had solid success with Douglas Firs. you in simple terms could desire to get a tree stand which you would be able to placed water in, and there is powder or liquid you ought to purchase at Lowe's or homestead Depot that enables your tree final. in simple terms persist with the guidelines. And be arranged to water the tree daily for the 1st few days...

Depends if its real or fake.. if its real get rid of it as soon as possible, if its fake, leave it up til jan 1 or 2nd. New year is part of the holiday season ya know? I usually take mine down some time in the first week of the year.

Decorations should be left up until thee Epiphany (January 6th).

(As a side note: The Epiphany is the day the 3 wise men arrived at the birth place of Jesus. If you will note in the Bible it says "Christ Child". This is because by the time they got there Jesus was no longer a baby but was a toddler.)

I would take it down January 1st. You could probably get by with it up for the first whole week of the new year.
