I would ABSOLUTLY have to say in the 1984 draft Sam Bowie and Hakeem Abdul Olajuwon. Sure Hakeem was good, but those 2 were drafted over MICHAEL JORDAN. MJ was the greatest player to ever walk the face o the Earth and he was taked 3rd in the draft.

In second place I would have to say that Wade going 5th was pretty bad. He should've been the second pick, MAYBE even first, but then again if I was making the pick I would've taken Melo and kicked myself when i saw Wade win the championship

Darko Milicic by the Detroit Pistons. Pick #3 in the 2003 NBA Draft

Since you are asking me about NBA first round picks, I'm going to have to say Kwame Brown and Darko Millicic. I think that even their statistics today merely,if not at all, are at where they should or were expected to be. Kwame is playing well, unlike Darko had an OK season last year, but is now playing absolutely terrible.

Don't remember the year but when the Philadelphia 76ers drafted Shawn Bradley. It had to be the worse first round pick in NBA history.

robert the tractor traylor, not only a bust, a lottery pick, but was selected in front of paul pierce and got traded for drik diggler for cash as well..... i mean how wrong can you go, and the fact of the matter is he'll be remembered as the bloke they swapped for diggler.

a close second would have to be the Kandi man,

I think it would be the person who was chosen first instead of michael jordan. I forgot his name but he got injured and look what michael jordan did for the bulls. can you imagine what it would be like if jordan was taken by the trailblazers.
