I built a computer using all my old part form updating but the USB ports will not work now
900 athon processor
Motherboard not sure
Sound blaster live
Nvida vid card not sure which one low end though
Anyone got some ideas I not great with computers so layman terms please
Plug my I pod in nothing happens It does work with same cable and everything on another computer

USB hm... if it doesn't come with the motherboard
and you had to put in a pci card for it then you will need a drive for it
if it is built into the motherboard then that USB is dead

In the CMOS menu set it enable and after you boot up install driver for it.

go back and double check your USB connection. It may be loose, or off a pin
