It depends on the state or country you live. You should call a tat shop and ask their piercer for the correct answer. I had mine done back when I was 16 and it didn't hurt but I have a high pain level. The pain despends on the person. Also remember that pain does go away and that you never can remember how bad something hurt just that it hurt. Good luck on whatever you do!
P.S. Put this in the back of your head that I now have a scar from where my piercing once was located. It isn't too big but it is still there.

You have to be 18 unless you have a parent with you to give consent and even then not all places will pierce a minor.

can almost do anything if you have consent from your parents.
i have 2 holes in my belly button, the first one hurt, but i was being pierced with a 10 gage (apprentice piercer).
the second was enjoyable! ;)

That would depend on what State you live in. I live in nc and you have to be 18 years of age or older..

i think 15 with parents signature and 18+ are good to go with no parental consent...lol But no my peircing didn't hurt me and i did it myself...i'm not very sensitive when it comes to peircings. I don't trust other people with my body either..lol

it doesnt matter about your age aslong as your with a parent. it doesnt hurt, but you have to take good care of it because it can get infected really easily!
